A Full-Day immersive Workshop in the Heart of Taupō Escape the everyday and immerse yourself in a day of creativity, calm, and connection. Join local potter Ani Rowell at Camo Chicken Ceramics Studio for an intimate, fully catered (shared lunch included) workshop. Nestled in the peaceful hills of Lake Taupō, this fully relaxing day includes hand building, wheel work, decoration and even some free play time Over six restorative hours, you’ll explore the foundations of pottery: 🌿 Pinch potting 🌿 Wheel throwing 🌿 Coiling 🌿 Screen and mono printing on clay This experience is designed for beginners and clay lovers alike — a chance to learn, laugh, and create in a supportive, inspiring environment. You’ll leave with a few beautifully crafted items, which will be dried, fired, and ready to enjoy in your own home, within 5 weeks of your booking. Please treat this like buying a ticket to a movie or concert. If you are unable to make your class, we are happy for you to on-sell your ticket and we will try and assist with this where possible. Should you become ill during a course, we will endeavor to assist a catch up session where we can, Due to the small size of workshops and limited space at the studio this may not always be possible.
